Fenlady`s first thoughts ...

Now isn`t this strange?  A fit of sleeplessness this evening so into slippers and dressing gown and onto the laptop - checked Facebook and several arts sites I`m on and then - ah!  I thought about blogging.
I am one of those poor souls - a refugee from 360 - the early days of blogging.  Fortunately I have managed to keep in touch with a few of the very good friends I made in those days - some of us went onto Multiply when 360 closed down but it was never the same.  I still have a Multiply page - I visited there this evening for the first time in ages - it is very sad-looking.  Facebook is fine for keeping in touch with people but, like life in general these days, it is in small bytes.  Twitter, of course, is even shorter.

Yep - I miss blogging.

I`ve had several attempts at setting up blog accounts.  Personally I dislike all these passwords and manage to forget quite a few.  What chaos that causes!  You try opening an account when you have already signed up for it - the moment you enter your e-mail address - zap - some mischievous elf delights in rejecting you immediately - sent to the corner of the classroom to stand there in misery as you try to remember your password.

So this is how, in the early hours of the morning, I decided to open this blog account and start writing again.  As ever, the moment I begin to type, the words just flow out of my fingertips - I am totally out of control.
All I have to do is leave a trail of crumbs, knitting wool or something so I can find my way back here when I wish to add another blog ...  meanwhile I shall write down the password before I forget!
